What the AI does, and what it isn’t allowed to do.

• The current title, tags, description and price of the listing being rewritten.
• The titles and tags of your top-selling listings, as in-context examples for tone matching.
• A small set of public Etsy search results for the listing’s primary keyword.

We do not send Claude any customer data, sales data, payout data, or anything outside the listing being rewritten plus the few examples above.

• We never fine-tune Claude (or any other model) on your shop data.
• We never share your shop data with Anthropic for training, ever.
• We never reuse one shop’s data as a training example for another shop. The in-context examples come exclusively from your own shop.
• We never auto-apply a rewrite to Etsy without your explicit click. Invisible bulk-approve is a click. Attracting per-listing approve is a click.

Anthropic PBC processes the listing data described in §2 to produce the rewrite. Anthropic’s API terms commit to:

• Not training their models on data customers send via the API.
• Retaining inputs/outputs only as long as needed for abuse detection (typically up to 30 days).
• Encrypting data in transit and at rest.

We have a Data Processing Agreement with Anthropic that will be in force before Viani opens for paid use.

Before the product opens, the only verifiable surface is this disclosure and the privacy policy. Once the product is live, the dashboard will show you, per listing, exactly what was sent to Claude and exactly what came back. You will be able to download both as JSON.
